Nandina is a seasoned professional with 28 years of extensive corporate experience across established MNCs and start-ups. In her role as Asia Pacific Business Head and Country Head, India of various MNCs, she has executed the India entry strategy and established commercial start-up operations, led product launches and multi-country projects across the world. Nandina's cross-over to the development sector was marked by the establishment and operations of the CSR vertical within a large integrated group of companies.
She brings to Salaam Bombay a unique combination of corporate strategy and an understanding of the social development landscape.
Vice President - Communications
Aditi has over 24 years of experience in developing, sustaining and growing new functions within organizations, both corporate and the development sector. She has completed more than 6 years in Salaam Bombay in both a resource mobilization and communications capacity. She brings to her role her ability to build networks across sectors along with a passion to communicate and spread awareness across all mediums.
Aditi has completed her MBA from the Whitmore School of Business, New Hampshire, USA.
Vice President - Projects (Skills & Sports)
Gaurav has been associated with the skill development ecosystem since the inception of the national mission in 2009. He brings 13 years of experience in the corporate and development sectors to his role at Salaam Bombay Foundation. While being associated with Salaam Bombay for more than a year, Gaurav is also visitng faculty at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, teaching Corporate Social Responsibility and Marketing Management courses.
Gaurav holds an MBA in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS and B.Tech in Electronics

Vice President - Finance
Ramnath has more than 37 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Tax and Regulatory matters. His experience is spanning multiple industries and geographies. Ramnath has worked in established organizations with robust systems as well as in start-ups, building systems from the ground level. It has been 2 years since he joined the Salaam Bombay team.
Ramnath is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI and CPA from Colorado State Board of Accountancy, U.S.A
Vice President - Projects (Arts & Media)
Rajashree brings with her 2 decades of experience in the development sector, specifically health. With the Foundation for more than 13 years, she has overseen and is responsible for the growth of the Arts academy and tobacco control programs in rural Maharashtra. She has spearheaded Salaam Mumbai Foundation’s foray into other Indian states.
Rajashree holds a Masters in Social Sciences from Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work.
Vice President - Development
Shruti has 18 years of work experience across both the corporate and development sector. With her previous success in providing leadership and input to strategic planning activities and fund raising, Shruti’s partnerships and networking skills are assets to the Foundation. Shruti is a recent valued addition to the leadership team at Salaam Bombay.
Shruti is an MBA from IIM Bangalore.
Vice President – Human Resources & Administration
Smruti has 12 years of diverse human resources and management experience that spans start-ups and established organizations in both corporate and development sector. Smruti is a result-oriented professional, she has extensive hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including policy design, performance management, recruiting, compliance reporting, training and development. Smruti has spent more than 5 years in Salaam Bombay.
Smruti holds an MBA from The Institute of Technology and Management.
Vice President - Projects (Preventive Health & Research)
With more than 12 years experience in design and execution of social development projects, Tshering has 2 publications to her credit. With Salaam Bombay for 6 years, her focus is on creating a tobacco-free environment across government schools, the community and stakeholders. She is on the Internal Review Board of Healis–Sekhsaria Institute for Public Health.
Tshering holds a Masters in Broadcast Journalism and a certificate on Global Tobacco Control from John Hopkins, USA.
