Salaam Bombay Foundation is an NGO that aims to educate children and inculcate a positive attitude among them. The Foundation’s projects have touched street children, children in municipal schools and private schools. We believe that educating children is the most enduring way of shaping the future of the country. |

- Finance - All donations made to Salaam
Bombay Foundation receive tax exemption under Section
80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961
- Volunteer Time - If you are good with
children and would like to help in art, drama or teaching
please do let us know. The children and we would be
very happy to have you in our team. Register with
us and we will contact you to volunteer during our
workshops which, indeed is a great experience.
- Volunteer Professional Skills – If
you are from media or advertising and would like to
help us design material, communication, advertising,
films, etc you are welcome to contact us. We are constantly
in the process of creating new material for our children
in a form that most excites them.
- Support the cause - Become an anti-tobacco
advocate
Tobacco is a menace everywhere and for everyone. You
may not be a child in a school yet the tobacco problem
is there near you. If you are working in a company
you can strive to make your work place tobacco-free
and we will help you with it. You can also make yourself
aware about the existing laws and if you you do find
the anti-tobacco law being ignored do let us know
so we can take action. A little concern and effort
on your end can help in making our future generation
tobacco free.
- Organize a programme in your school
Salaam Bombay Foundation has been working with children
for 3 years and we have learnt a lot from them. We
are constantly updating our modules based on our experiences
and feedback from the children. We tailor make our
modules based on the need of the school and are also
willing to reach out to more and more children. Please
do get in touch with us to be a part of our programmes
and we will be there to do the same.
